St Josephs Guesthouse and Function Venue is a quintessential three level stone building of old word glamour that was renovated from the ruins of a 180 year old Catholic Church. This stunning church is steeped rich in history being built in 1839. This incredible property was purchased in 2009 with the vision of creating a stunning wedding venue and guest house. This romantic wedding venue is truly like no other and the renovations stayed true to the church’s original aesthetics. While adding some creative touches it contains beautiful antique fittings and fixtures and memorabilia of days gone by.

Conveniently Located With Glorious Vistas

Located in the tranquil MacDonald Valley, just 90 minutes from Sydney, this venue can offer you the most picturesque valley setting that you have envisioned . The estate offers plenty of grassy areas forming a natural amphitheatre overlooking nuptials on the terraced area, or the tasteful ground floor of the church. The property includes a rich variety of fauna and flora adding to its beauty. The setting has a relaxed ambience and is perfect for an unforgettable indoors and outdoors wedding and reception. This venue can arrange an early start for your special day and has a curfew at 7pm. For those that like to continue their celebrations late into the evening their historic sister site Settlers Arms Inn circa 1836 is only five minutes down the road and can arrange an evening package till midnight through St Josephs.

Since opening its doors in 2014, St Josephs Guest house and Function Venue has received many heritage and magazine awards. Renowned as an idyllic exclusive venue with a picturesque vista, this stunning venue also has Guest house accommodation. The much loved accommodation allows the couple, and family and friends to arrive a day or two earlier to unwind and stylise your big day.The Guesthouse has five large luxurious bedrooms, ensuites and sleeps up to ten guests and is a pet welcoming stay.There is also plenty of accomodation available at our sister site the Settlers Arms Inn Circa 1836 and surrounding properties, including camping options.The amazing guesthouse also has a stunning kitchen, a large lounge area downstairs, a big decking area rooftop lounge with firepit, and a plunge pool to unwind onsite. A marquee can be erected at the lawn area on the estate grounds, or you may choose to hold your reception indoors inside the stunning St Joseph’s venue.
